Meet Steve Trieu
Steve Trieu, a hospitality and service expert, has spent more than two decades in the bar and restaurant industry, managing everything from a locally-owned, high-end tapas restaurant in Florida to a massive sports bar in Lubbock, Texas. The pandemic brought Steve back to Kansas City, where he was recruited to bartend at one of the city's most iconic watering holes, Harry's Bar and Tables in Westport. Now, he's excited to put his service expertise to work as the founder and owner of KC Bartenders. Steve's focus with KC Bartenders is on offering clients an elevated bar experience with options for all guests, including a thoughtful selection of N/A beverages, including a full N/A package featuring mocktails, wine and beer. He was born and raised in Kansas City, where he still lives today with his partner Angela and their bark-tenders, Tommy and Mikey. Bark-tender Ellie crossed the rainbow bridge in 2023, but she will always have her place as a founding bark-tender for KC Bartenders.

Ellie
In memory of Ellie, 2011 - 2023
Ellie's a bit spicy, but also a lady of leisure, so she'll leave the bottle on the bar and you can help yourself. Don't be surprised if she needles you a bit while looking on from her cozy perch behind the bar.
Tommy
Who could forget about barktender Thomas Robinson (aka Tommy)? No one, on account of he won't let you. Tommy is extra, so he definitely serves up drinks with flair and plenty of gab - whether you want to hear his thoughts or not. He also has zero self-control, so he samples everything and will almost certainly be drunk by the end of the night.
Mikey
Michael Moustakas (aka Mikey) is six years old and works a day job as Pawject Manager for The Builders, a chapter of the AGC (no really - check out their staff page!). He aims to please, so he's typically pretty generous with his pours 😉
